The door's opening is determined by standing on the opening side of the door and opening the door towards yourself. For a right-hand door, the hinges are on the right, the handle on the left. The opposite is true for a left-hand door.

If the thickness of the wall is greater than the depth of the door leaf (90 mm), an extension is required to cover the full wall thickness. E.g.: Wall thickness 150 mm → 120 mm extension is sufficient (90 mm threshold + 120 mm = 210 mm → covers the wall thickness). Wall thickness 200 mm → 150 mm or 200 mm extension is suitable. The colour of the extension always matches the colour of the door. The picture is illustrative.
